We closely collaborated with the Press Center project team and many key stakeholders (journalists, institutional actors, etc) to analyse the needs and define the strategic and functional specifications regarding the official website of the Belgian Presidency of the EU.

A both systematic and iterative approach was used to:

• Analyze both client’s and end users’ needs and objectives through interviews and workshops;
• Propose strategic recommendations in terms of information architecture and key features;
• Define an exhaustive list of detailed “clickable” HTML prototypes (wireframes). These prototypes were used to make intensive usability testing sessions with a panel of end users. Based on these results, further recommendations and adaptations were made to meet as much as possible users’ expectations;
• Formalise functional and pre-technical specifications, and validate them with both the client and the technical team.
