Who we are

We love business

Why? This everchanging world requires new business models fostered by new types of innovation. To us, however, innovation is not the future. It’s mixing future with present. In terms of business, innovation is the ability to bring new relevant ideas in existing structures. That’s what we call organic innovation.

That's who we are...

... an innovation-infused new-generation company that thinks and build the digital organisation through organic innovation. We deliver full-service digital business solutions that amplify the relationship between organisations and their stakeholders.

To do that...

... we first blend strong technology with top-class strategy. Second, we base our work on three main pillars: new-gen Client Partnership, new-gen Collaboration Model, and new-gen Knowledge Sharing.

That's why we love business.

Our Mission

Architects for a Better Society

All at K, we are convinced that the whole business world is about to face a series of new fundamental challenges that go deep into the companies’ DNA and organisation. Our mission is to guide them through the fog, turning their traditional e-business masterpieces into genuine interconnected systems.

Since the Web 2.0 patterns have suddenly popped up, things have changed fast indeed – and these patterns have now stepped out of the ‘private-connected concern’ of one’s individual to spill out within companies and organisations – and whose side effects are already tangible.

We claim for an integrated relationship management ecosystem around an organisation, made of the convergence between Internet, Intranet, Extranet and other digital management tools. From a succession of independent, blind tools, we switch to integrated, reliable, connected, and collaborative ecosystems, leveraging the organisation’s business performance up to today’s standard requirements.

Build and Transform

K Company is devoted to a clear purpose: serving its clients’ willingness to adapt themselves to their changing and challenging environments using the most recent paradigms and tools. K Company strongly believes and promotes a strategic approach of transformation, avoiding financial dead-ends and pointless wastes, and leveraging on collaboration, globalisation, collective intelligence and public conversations.

K Company helps organisations be more efficient, more aligned with today's stakes and challenges. We are architects for a better world; we have access to the latest and widest array of technologies; we work with the brightest brains on strategy, business insights, behaviours, sociology and psychology.

Doing this and doing that way, putting the most recent trends, paradigms and tools into action, we are working on predicting and shaping the future of e-business, meaning: the future of business, meaning: the future of our society.

K Company has signed the eTic Charter under the ref. #380.

K Company is not a web agency.

We are working on the transformation of organisations towards a digital world.

We are working for a better world enabled by technologies, creativity and innovation.

We help organisations to be more efficient, more aligned with today's stakes and environment.

We approach things from a strategic perspective.
From the top. Strategically.
To us, no investment is valuable without a clear link with a strategy.

We put human at the heart.

We are architects for a better world,
having access to the latest and widest array of technologies,
supported by the best brains on strategy,
business insights, behaviours, sociology and psychology.

K People

We put human at the heart

The very nature of e-business is made of people, not technology. That’s why K devotes the highest importance to the persons working down here. The whole company structure is organised around the human aspect of our work. K quarters count more than 120 expert people, working from three different locations in Belgium (Brussels, Antwerpen and Liège).

Our History

It's the speed, stupid!

In 1450, Johannes Gensfleisch zur Laden zum Gutenberg introduces modern book printing. His technology spreads quickly throughout Europe and books begin to travel across coutries much faster than before.

History 142

It's the network, Timothy!

In 2004, Timothy John Berners-Lee is ennobled by Queen Elizabeth II for his decisive participation in the invention of the World Wide Web, that puts computers into network.

History 143

It's the strategy, by Jove!

In 2008, Laurent Kinet and Bart Van Den Kieboom, soon joined by Serge Fontinoy, incorporate Early Stage, the Enterprise 2.0 company in Belgium, that specialises in strategic consulting, program management and Web 2.0 for business. Early Stage partners with blueKiwi Software, Jive Software, SocialText and Knowledge Plaza and offers exclusive Enterprise 2.0 services within Belgium.

It's the strategy, by Jove!

It's an adventure, Xavier!

In 2009, Xavier Cremer joins Early Stage as Business Consultant. The bureau works for a bunch of sexy clients such as BNP Paribas Fortis, Knauf, IBA, the European Commission or the Belgian Government. One day of January 2010, our heating system suddenly shuts down.

History 145

It's the feed, Prime Minister!

In 2009, Early Stage launches Agorati, a Web 2.0 portal gathering all blog feeds of Belgian politicians in one single, dynamic interface. The project, supported by an official Innovation Fund, raises interest from lots of institutional actors and is implemented in the online version of Le Soir.

History 146

It's la vie de château!

In May 2010, Early Stage moves to the Nagelmackers castle in Angleur, recently restored to its ancient atmosphere with some pieces of modernity. To this occasion a big party is organised with our clients, friends and family.

History 147

It's the challenge, Jef!

In June 2010, Early Stage is invested by the Cronos Group and becomes K Company NV/SA, whose mission is to become one of the leading digital business agencies in Belgium, offering services ranging from corporate strategy to technical implementations of Web, IT, CRM, Mobile and Television solutions for the biggest organisations, governments and institutions. At the same time, we offer a new Bluetooth mouse to Xavier, and welcome Loris Piccoli and Jean-Philippe van den Hove in the team.

History 148

It's the mobility, stupid!

In 2010, a couple of important projects are delivered, pushing K Company to the highest levels of business. Among those, the website of the Belgian Presidency of the European Union, and the first mobile transactional banking solution in Belgium within BNP Paribas Fortis.

... and more to come!

History 149

It's the growth, fellows!

At the end of 2010, K Company is granted with several big contracts that lead to new hires. Cassian Germis and Jean-François Monfort join the team and start to work immediately. We discover some of our colleagues' ability to drink multiple Triple Carmélite's while talking about Linux - without blushing with emotion.

On March 2011, K Company is listed as the 4th biggest digital agency in Belgium in the Inside Digital Media's yearly Top 100.

It's the growth, fellows!
